Welcome to the California Western School of Law Online Financial Aid System. Using this website, you can:

  • Check the status of your application
  • View a list of documents we've received from you and a list of the documents still outstanding 
  • View your financial aid package and accept, decline, or reduce offered funding

In order to use this system, you must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment at California Western School of Law.

Before beginning, you should be sure to familiarize yourself with the financial aid section of the California Western website; you are responsible for knowing its contents.  Pay particular attention to the description and procedures relating to the various student loan programs.  Also be aware of our Cost of Attendance, which serves as a cap on the amount of aid you can receive.

Login Instructions

Review the instructions that correspond to you:

I have used the system before, and I know my password.
Enter your California Western School of Law Student ID number and password in the login box, and click the "Submit" button.

I have used the system before, but I have forgotten my password.
Click the "Forgot your Password?" link in the login box.  You must answer one or more challenge questions to confirm your identity, after which you may need to set up security questions.  You will also be able to set up a new password.

I have never used the system before.
Click the "First Time User" link in the login box.  You will need to confirm your identity.  Note that dates must be entered in the MM/DD/YYYY format, including the slashes.

If it has been more than a week since your admission to the law school, but the system is not allowing you to create an account or retrieve your existing account information, please contact the Financial Aid Office at finaid@cwsl.edu.  Five unsuccessful login attempts will lock you out and deny you access to the Online Aid System.  If you receive the message "Your account has been locked for security reasons. Please contact the financial aid office for assistance.", then you have been locked out; contact Financial Aid to unlock your account.
